Patty is an expert on Chicago: its real estate, culture, business climate and its very nature. Patty grew up on the North Shore. She moved back to Chicago after graduating law school and has lived in the city ever since. She currently lives in Lincoln Park with her Tibetan Terriers, Rajah and Coco. She knows Chicago’s neighborhoods and is a great resource for what’s going on in the city.
Patty attended Connecticut College for two (2) years and graduated with a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Colorado. She has a law degree from Washington University in St Louis.
Patty is a licensed attorney, starting her career working for a law firm specializing in litigation. She later developed an expertise in probate, trust, estate planning and banking in a career that included positions in banks and a non profit organization. Patty has a keen ability to bring a balanced business perspective to the often challenging process of buying or selling a home. She combines her sales and marketing savvy with the precise analysis of a lawyer.
Patty is deeply involved in Chicago’s cultural scene. She is currently a member of the Acquisition Committee of the Society for Contemporary Art of the Art Institute of Chicago and a member of the Museum of Contemporary Art Performance Committee. She has been an active volunteer with many art related non-profit organizations while living in Chicago. Patty is a member of the Arts Club, is a collector, and is deeply involved in Chicago’s art scene. In addition to supporting the visual arts, she regularly supports and attends as many of Chicago’s opera, theater, dance and music performances as possible.
Patty has a great eye. Having had a style consulting business, she knows the best boutiques for apparel and interiors. Patty provides a wonderful talent for helping her clients visualize their future homes. She also provides her clients with advice to best stage their current home for sale.
